2011 Walk-A-Thon Event
2011 Walk-A-Thon Event Help us raise support for the women and children in Sonargachi, Calcutta’s red-light district, at the 2011 Walk-a-Thon Event.

There are two ways to participate:
- Sponsor the event
- Walk at the event (150 people needed!)
Walk participants can choose between a 5K or 10K route, beginning at 10.30am and 2pm, respectively. Individual participants pay a non-tax deductible $25 registration fee ($75 for family registrations – 2 adults + 2 children), which includes a BBQ lunch and Walk-a-Thon T-shirt.
All proceeds raised will support a medical clinic and healthy alternative employment opportunities for Sonargachi's rescued sex workers, and a safe residential home for their children.
